36ft 1980s Springer Renovation
I am currently rebuilding my 36ft 1980s Springer canal boat from the bare bones. She had previously sunk twice to the bottom of the canal. I would say I am currently 80 percent through a entire rebuild - including fitting a 'homemade' electric drive system in place of the old BMC 1500 diesel engine.
This is all being done on a VERY tight budget. Total spend - including buying the boat - is still just short of £10k all in!
