Evening folks! Had a surprisingly pleasant few evenings working on the boat this week, sadly it’s too cold to get the epoxy involved but I’ve got a plan for that which involves a 3kw heater, lots of bubble wrap and doing a science. We’ve had to revert to plan b for the Cutlass bearing, I’ve bought a standard sized bearing and a bronze tube which I’ll machine to fit the off the shelf bearing and then braze on to the existing stern tube, in theory it’ll only add 30mm to the length which is easily accounted for by the motor set up and the benefit of being able to use a standard benatau part far outweighs the slight rethinking of the motor placement. Looking forward to machining some phospher bronze
