In this tutorial, Chris explains his method of painting underneath boat cradles. The problem being that there is normally at least 4 points of contact that can not be sanded or painted due to the cradle being in the way. The cradle supports the boat whilst it is out of the water and on dry land and therefore can not be moved.
Chris uses a jack and two scaffolding poles to support the boat whilst the cradle is moved to reveal the underlying surface. Notably, the weight and sheer size of the boat makes this a dangerous task but by taking your time and being cautious this method can work both effectively and safely. Please remember, it is not only yours and others safety at risk but your boat and the neighbouring boats which can be damaged.
