This tutorial provides an example of the process of restoring a teak wood lined hatch using a hammer and chisel to remove the existing cover up. Replacing artificial teak with real teak is fairly straight forward but notably, in this tutorial, stainless steel screws are used to provide spacing in between the wood battens ready for the filler SIS-440.
